DCEA Organization Membership Registration Form 2023-24

An organization must be a non-political, non-religious organization, registered as a non-profit/non-stock in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV), or part of any non-profit parent organization registered in a different state but maintains its local chapter in the DMV area. This local chapter must maintain its eligibility by conducting its elections based on its constitutions and bylaws. The organization shall be registered with a state at least one year before the application date for DCEA membership and state registration shall be current during the DCEA application year. No individual, commercial vendor, or commercial entity is eligible to become a member of the DCEA.

19. Membership Fees and Payment Details:

Category One:
For new applicants or existing members who participated in 2023, the initial non-refundable membership fee is $50, payable now.

Category Two:
Returning members who did not participate in 2023 are required to pay an additional returning fee of $100, in addition to the $50 initial membership fee. This totals a non-refundable payment of $150.

**Please note that the initial membership registration fee covers only your basic membership. Additional program fees will be determined by DCEA members collectively based on the total program budget. These fees will be proposed, approved, and collected at a later date. Last year, the program fee was $250.

It's important to adhere to the payment deadlines set by all members for these program fees. Failure to pay the program fees within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of your membership, and you will not be able to participate in the 2024 DCEA Program as a member. Additionally, the initial membership fee you paid will be forfeited.
